Baldha Garden Bengali: (বলধা বাগান) is a botanical garden situated beautifully at Wari in the old part of the Dhaka City. It spans about 3.15 acres of land. It has a collection of six hundred and seventy two species of plants. The Baldha Garden is now managed as a settlement unit of the National Botanical Garden by the Forestry Department. Baldha Garden is one of the oldest Botanical Gardens of Bangladesh. The garden is enhanced with uncommon plant species collected from different parts of the world.

Baldah Garden most ancient gardens established in this part of Bengal. Narendra Narayan Roy Chaudhury was begun creating it in 1909. He was the landlord of the Estate of Baldah. He continued to add to it awaiting his death in 1943. He concurrently built up a museum anthology. It was known as the Baldah Museum. The museum collections are now residence at the Bangladesh National Museum.

This garden is located in Wari. It is just opposite side of the Christian cemetery. This garden boasts a rich set of native and foreign plants. It is open for public. It is open on Saturday to Thursday of a week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This place is closed on Friday.

Visitors can reach this place by bus and personal car. They can take a look the full park within ten minutes. The most attractive creatures are orchid house, lily pond, cactii house and other foliage plants. The lily pond becomes more attractive when lilies are bloomed. There is several setting facilities are arranged around the pond. It a well maintained beautiful place to have a holiday. This place is more attractive for young couple.

Entry tickets are obtainable on the gate. Baldha Garden is most attractive place for people to recreation. Every day many people come to here and they like it very much.
