Shat Gambuj Mosque Bengali: (ষাট গম্বুজ মসজিদ) means Seven Domed Mosque is the historical mosque of Bangladesh. Shat Gambuj Mosque demonstrates a well example of the regional Mughal approach of architecture. It set up in Bangladesh in the 17th Century. The most remarkable features of this mosque are its seven bulbous domes. These are crowning on the rooftop and covering the main prayer hall.
Shat Gambuj Mosque was built around 1680D by Mughal Subehdar Shaista Khan. Bengal was then experiencing an age of dignity. This mosque has three central large domes and four small domes at four corners.
